This is the underside of the frames showing the brake linkages. These are designed to build into a unit that is removeable, thus obviating the need to solder brakes in the close proximity to steel tyres. It will also make painting much easier. At the rear you can see the linkages to the steam brake (centre) and the hand brake (top).
