This was the last in a run of three consecutive 8-coupled engines that I built back in the 80's; as I finished this one I made the fateful decision to build in P4 in future - a decision I have not regretted. The next two engines, and the first ones built in P4 were, strangely, also 8-coupled. I still have a backlog of OO models to convert, including this one.
